Tato trilogie je nabitá historickými fakty a latinou. Samotný příběh je podle mě v cca 60% , zbytek je historie a latina. Nejvíce mi vadily latinské texty, které jsem musel pracně dohledávat na konci knihy dle kapitol a později už mě to přestalo bavit, takže jsem byl o značnou část ochuzen a často také nekonečné vyjmenovávání "historických?" postav, které hlavní hrdina potká zpravidla na jednom místě, a které s příběhem nemají nic co dělat. Takže nebýt této omáčky byly by to knihy 2. Byla by to možná i "nádechovka" nebýt toho, mnohdy zbytečného, balastu navíc, protože příběh se tam často ztrácí...
