Hezké čtení, milé, magické i děsivé. Bude se líbit čtenářkám literatury sester Bronteových. V knize jsou dvě linky současná, která je vyprávěna Henrym a Martou. Ale mě se více líbila historická linka, kterou vypráví Opaline. Její život je plný kuráže, ale i beznaděje. Hvězdu beru za to, že kapitolu vždy vypráví postava uvedena v názvu. Příběh to, dle mého názoru, narušuje a ubírá na plynulosti děje.
